Battle Status Description

The Battle Status page is where most of the information for the unit is displayed. Down the left column significant events are displayed. Users who are given permission are able to submit a form that updates the database and feed the events. The column is automatically updated every 5 minutes. The Unit Status is displayed in the right frame an entire divisions status can be viewed from just one page. By clicking on any of the gum balls displayed you can see more detailed information on each unit . It will allow you to drill down to each unit and see detailed information on weapon systems (shown on right), personnel and ammo. Many other reports are integrated into the system to give commanders an overall common view of the battlefield. Along the bottom a dynamic marquee scrolls indicating any significant events that need to be brought to attention.

All unit locations are fed to the Warlord system to display a digital map of the battlefield.

Cost Effective + Does the Job

This system  can be implemented at any level  Corps, Division, Brigade or Battalion.  All that is needed is a TCP/IP capable network .   Todays Command and Control systems cost up to and over 1 million dollars.  TACWEB can be implemented for around $10,000 hardware and software included.  It provides everyone with the status of equipment, personnel, unit readiness, significant events along with several other reports. It has provided command and control for the Second Infantry Division for over one year through over 15 exercises with complete success.  If you want more information on the system email me and I can set you up with a complete demonstration.   This is US Army owned software and can be implemented by any unit. I can make modifications for you if needed to adapt to your unit. I think you be amazed by its capabilities.

Not yet accomplished but in the works:  I am working with a company called ACUSOFT on a map interface that will integrate in to the Microsoft Office suite to map out all of the unit locations that are tracked within TACWEB.  This will allow you to have a complete C2 system from your windows PC for less than $2000 a client.  Not to mention the fact that you could fit this whole system into a laptop that weighs 3lbs.

Why should I use it????
